Can You Hear Mother Nature Calling?

0

If you’re looking for outdoor adventures, the US has practically anything you could ask for. Spotting wildlife and melting s’mores over a campfire are only two of the great things you can do. Bike riding or watching the stars are just a couple things to consider doing. You’ll find that Mother Nature has lots to offer.

Whether you’re a pro or new to camping, research can help ensure you create a wonderful experience. For tried and true camping trips you can always depend on the the many US national parks. Parks like Yellowstone and the Great Smoky Mountains offer the chance to fully enjoy the outdoor experience. You also have plenty of options when you’re ready to travel a little further off the beaten path. You can hike year round through the Forty Mile Canyon in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah. The hike is challenging but doable as you wander among the trees and travel along Forty Mile Creek. The canyon is full of refreshing pools where you can take a quick dunk to cool off.

One of the biggest attractions to mountain hiking is the view from the top, and the San Gorgonio Mountain in California offers one of the best. Rising high above, this trail and its summit are popular among visitors and Californians alike. There will be nothing to hinder your view of the wide blue sky and puffy white clouds from so high up. Across in the east, spots in the Appalachian Mountains in Tennessee and the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina also provide spectacular views.

For a bit of unconventional camping, there are some spots that are catered to you. For the brave ones who care to skinny-dip, Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan is a great spot. In the cool, clear freshwater of Lake Superior you can admire the pink and orange sky of sunset surrounded by the pines and hardwoods. You can experience amazing views of the stars from Mount Wrightson Wilderness, Arizona. The bare summit lets you experience the Milky Way and beyond without any distractions. For the best rest and relaxation mixed into your adventure, consider the many islands and trails of Hawaii.

Whether you want to see the view from the highest peak or you want to find fun trails that also lead to the best eateries, your outdoor adventure is waiting for you. Not only can you see and admire nature’s wonders, you can also experience it. As long as you have an idea, you won’t lack for opportunity as you get out and experience Mother Nature.
