Hiking Question: Inexpensive Gear: Tips On Light Weight, Easy-to-dry Pants And Shirts.?

Shirts with a high polyester mix are really the best. Cheap, breathable and easy to clean. Target sells some under the C9 brand for $10
Avoid cotton. They take a long time to dry after getting wet and odors stay on on damp cotton.
Swim trunks make good low tech hiking pants. Dries quick and breathable.

Even big stores like Target will have this kind of stuff. REI and the big stores can be so expensive. Also, try Ebay – I am always shocked at what is for sale there.

with regards to food…its easier to take processed foods like powdered and instant stuff than if you take tinned food…and with clothes, usually waterproof stuff that will keep you warm at the same time help instead of having to take double.space blankets as well
