Need Help With Christmas Present: What Are Hiking Essentials?
My dad and I really enjoy backpacking/hiking with our golden retriever. I was planning on buying a lot of cool gear for him to use when we go this Spring/Summer, but I need help with ideas on what to buy that he could really use. So far, I plan on getting him a big water bottle and some stuff for our dog to use, but what else could I get?

Also the small headlights(elastic band that goes around your head with LED lights)
gloves that have windstopper protection
Make the water bottle one of the Nalgeine style with screw off lids
