There are an enormous amount of trekking possibilities in Norway.
Check out the pages of the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) (in English.) http://www.turistforeningen.no/english/
    It says that:
“Our work is conducted by 55 local member associations, each expert in the area it serves. Together they have built and now maintain one of Europe’s larger marked hiking trail networks and arguably the world’s most extensive cross-country skiing track networks. You can hike or ski in comfort, as there are more than 440 cabins in the networks across the country, or seek challenge, as Norway is one of the least densely populated countries of the world, with extensive areas available for outdoor activities, many of them readily available, close to cities.”
DNT offers one of Europe’s larger marked hiking trail networks (20,000 km) all over the country. The trails are marked, so you don’t get lost, and you can stay for free or a small fee in the well equipped cabins.
