They are all over the country. Stay away from the Wal-Mart, Dick's, Gander Mountain chain stores. Find a store that specializes in Backpacking and non-hunting/fishing outdoor recreation. They usually have people working there that are "gear junkies" and know what they are talking about. Tell them your situation and they will be able to help.
