What Is The Best Hiking Trail In Split Rock Lighthouse State Park? Also Any Must Hike Trails In North Shore?
Going camping to split rock lighthouse state park with a friend of mine. Looking to do some hiking. Any trails anyone can recommend in the park or in the area? We are looking for 1-4 hr hikes. Thanks.

The best 3-4 hour hike in Split Rock Lighthouse State Park is the Split Rock River loop of the Superior Hiking Trail. Park at the wayside rest on Highway 61 just west of the SR River bridge and take the trail from the parking lot up the west side or the river gorge. About two miles upstream the Superior Hiking Trail crosses the river on a footbridge and then hike back down the east side of the river. There are also some great trails through the state park along Lake Superior and to Corundum Point.
