Greetings. I just walked 4.5 miles on a “hiking trail.” I had with me only my parents and my dog. To me it was more of going for a walk. Yes we were in woods, but does hiking generally mean carrying a backpack or a bunch of gear with you? What’s the deal here?

Alright well i’m planning on bringing my girlfriend on a 6 hour TRIP and i would like to know where are some good places around the cape where we can walk and explore, hopefully near the beach for the sunset

What tools, food, supplies, gear would you recommend a person hiking up a smokey, tropical, cold mountain by himself starting at 5am planning on going to the top and then back down the same day?

Mountain gear boots had a similar looking shoe, maybe new yorkers know
